Lawrence Lawry

Lawrence LawryLawrence Lawry was born in Cornwall. He studied architecture, art and photography, graduating from the London College of Printing with a diploma in creative photography. He started his photography career shooting editorial commissions, theatre groups and working in the music business. He taught photography part time at LCP for several years.

Lawrence began shooting more abstract still life and art photography during the 90s. He started selling his work through Photodisc (Getty) at the outset of online stock photography.

He has travelled extensively through Asia, Australia, Africa, North America and Europe. Lawrence has a studio in his home in North London. He is very experienced in portraiture, still life, low light, macro and experimental photography both in the studio and on location. He has been working on Photoshop for over ten years and now shoots mostly on digital.

Lawrence syndicates still life and lifestyle with Getty and Science Photo Library and editorial shoots with Retna, Idols and London Features. A number of his images are available as limited edition prints, please for details.
